ULTIMATE INSULT!

August 19th, 2011 · No Comments

What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Pack it before you start a debate! haha….

Xiaomi – 1.5GHz MIUI phone priced at RM928 or $310!

August 18th, 2011 · 2 Comments

This is so unbelievable – 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8260 chip, Adreno 220 graphic processor, 1GB RAM, 4-inch 480 x 854 LCD (great for outdoor viewing), 8MP camera with LED flash, ginormous 1930mAh battery, dual GPS and you will get MIUI straight from the box (this would probably save you a lot of trouble and time of rooting and flashing the device).

Though it is not the world thinnest nor lightest phone at 125mm x 63mm x 11.9mm, weighing 149g or 5.3 ounces, it serves the everyday usage convenience.

The most tempting of it is the price, with just RM928 you will get all the above GREAT features. You might worry about its built quality since it’s a China product but it’s no longer a pull back! Xiaomi will be manufactured by Foxconn which produces the Apple IPhone 4.

Overall, this surely will be a strong competitor against Samsung and HTC in the android market. However, all the above are still swee promises which haven’t been fulfilled. Let’s keep an eye on it and don’t get excited to early.

p/s: for those who understand Chinese, should take a look on the below videos. =)

Facebook – the MENTAL Hospital!

August 16th, 2011 · No Comments

TO ALL MY FELLOW NUTS – I mean friends…I just realized…We sit and stare at a screen…We talk to ourselves. Laugh our butts off. We have imaginary friends and vineyards, cities and fake animals. We cook imaginary food in imaginary bakeries…. We poke people and think it’s ok. We even write on walls. Think about it…. Facebook is a mental hospital ….and we are all… patients… partying in the ward…

I hope Negaraku was played instead…

August 15th, 2011 · No Comments

Our beloved Datuk Lee Chong Wei was defeated by Lin Dan in Yonex BWF Championship 2011, London just now. Just with a slight error made, the gold medal flied to another owner.

Chong Wei has been waiting this day to arrive for the past 6 years. This is his first time entering the final battle field of Yonex BMF Championship. Of course, we know that he was putting his best effort throughout the past 6 years.

Overwhelming responses discussing about this HOT topic were started in Facebook. IyouweBlog collected some of it which may give you a big LOL or ROFL. Let the photos tell the story. =)

So reasonABLE!!

Everyone was hoping for a holiday! haha, I’m one of them BTW =p

Actually those who need a holiday can get a MC, sweat!

And someone is jealous…

Is he arrogant?

The answer is simple, if you are a MALAYSIAN, in general you will say YES! vice-versa

But a Chinaman has a different view~

(for those who don’t understand Chinese, he claimed that Lin Dan was disrespect by hugging others without his shirt on and he is not the only champion in this world.)

This chick prefers “Dato Lee without his shirt” to Lin Dan.

Lin Dan responded after the match, “I’m the China’s army, I’ll fight till the end!”

Why Chong Wei lost to Lindan?

Because Lin Dan was the rise of the planet – THE APE! haha, jk,jk~

Who say we are not patriotic enough? We even call Lindan….

This doesn’t show sportsmanship but it’s SO Malaysian!

Even BERSIH supporters love Malaysia…

I hope “Negaraku” was played instead of “March of the Volunteers”.

I know he won’t give up, 2012 London Olympic, at the same venue, wish Dato Lee will grab our very first gold medal!

I <3 Malaysia, do you?

When Ramadhan clashes with Hungry Ghost Festival….

August 6th, 2011 · No Comments

In the month of August, besides celebrating the birthday of our beloved Bolehland, we have something funny.

Two religious festive began simultaneously. One was Ramadan, the fasting month of Islam. During Ramadan all healthy and sufficiently mature Muslims abstain from any form of food and drink from the sunrise to sunset. The fast is simultaneously a an act of obedience to God and remembrance of those who are hungry all the time. And when the evening comes it binds the community together in celebratory feasting.

The other holiday was what is commonly called in English the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts. In Chinese traditional religion it is believed that on the first day of the 7th month the gates of hell are opened up and all the discontented spirits return to earth. They are hungry because through either an unnatural death, or through human neglect they have not been offered “soul food” in their otherworldly home.

There are two clear contrasts here.

For Muslims, Ramadhan should be a peaceful month. It’s believed to be free of ghost.

But this year Ramadhan clashes with Hungry Ghost Festival. If the ghosts are tied up, how can they enjoy the offering? One, all the ghost can roam freely while the other, all the ghosts are locked up. =p

Hungry Ghost Festival and Ramadhan at the same time, one hungry one fasting. For sure the Chinese ghosts will go mad over the Muslims.

Haha, all the above is just a joke, don’t take it so serious (no intention to offend anyone).
Have a laugh for the day. =)

Kuching – Searching for the best SARAWAK LAKSA!

July 30th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Throughout the week in Kuching, we were brought to few places to have our bowls of Sarawak Laksa which taste so different from Penang Laksa and the normal Curry Laksa. Personally, I love Sarawak Laksa the most among the three.

Madam Tang’s VS Golden Arch Garden VS Ah Yew
Let’s FIGHT! =p

Madam Tang’s

Madam Tang’s cafe served a wide range of foods but we were there for its Laksa which costs RM5.50 per bowl. It is located in the Spring (shopping mall) food court or you may find its standalone cafe in Petanak, Kuching.

Haha, don’t get me wrong! With RM5.50, you wont get this~ The Special Laksa with huge prawns will cost you RM10.80. The thick flavorful gravy is the soul of this signature dish. It is creamy and heavy with loads of spices and herbs. However, it is a little too salty to my liking. Not to forget, Madam Tang’s was the winner of Kennysia 2008 Best Sarawak Laksa Award and recommended by JFook.

Golden Arch Garden

Most of the Kuchingnites will know this famous stall. Situated at the 3rd Mile Roundabout, Kuching, the stall has its laksa priced at RM3.50 / RM4.50 / RM5.50 according to the size of prawns.

I think you can guess how nice is the laksa now, hehe!

The rice vermicelli is soaked in a well-mixed gravy which has a balanced composition between the coconut milk and spices. I’d label it as the OPTIMUM version of Sarawak laksa which suits everyone’s taste buds in general. It is legendary good when the lime juice and sambal paste are added into it. “Serious Fucking Business” is used to describe this bowl of laksa by Sixthseal. How fucking good is it? You must give it a try to know the answer!

Ah Yew

Personally I love this the most! Location and price will be updated soon. (I forgot where is it FML, but I know tht I love this the most!!!)

This is the only laksa that I’m craving for another bowl! Why is it so SPECIAL? Simply because it doesn’t contain any coconut milk which may cover the original taste of the soup and spices. The lightened soup with a little sourish and minimal spiciness make my day! I feel that this is a healthier way of having a bowl of laksa! (less fat and less cholesterol though it still has some PRAWNS, cheating myself actually, hehe)

So the conclusion is choose your bowl of laksa according to your taste buds! Yupz, this post miss out the laksa in Choon Hui cafe (so-called the best laksa in Kuching, I haven’t try it yet!!!)

Next post on Kuching will be featuring Kolou Mee, Damai beach, Crocodile farm, Food Valley Seafood…..

CIMB, Streamyx, Nuffnang, Advertlets, Gengblogger, TV3 and PLKN were HACKED!!!

July 25th, 2011 · No Comments

Have you heard of GOOD hackers? Are all hackers wild and cruel? Hmmm, Gaysec (not gay sex =p) hacked CIMB, Streamyx, Nuffnang, Advertlets, Gengblogger, TV3 and PLKN with the intention of rising cyber-security awareness.

Yes, they claimed that they are actually saving these local sites from being hacked by other hackers. They released only part of the “harvested” database to the public through their official site.

We understand that the hackers intended to highlight security issues present in our system, and we note that they have chosen to limit the number of e-mail addresses released. Their intent was not to deface or cause damage, but to highlight security issues.
~Advertlets

It has however opened our eyes on some vulnerabilities we had on our website. In response to that, we will be taking measures to further heighten the security of the Nuffnang framework because from what we understand, that was after all the motivation of the hackers – not to cause any permanent damage, but to highlight vulnerabilities in a system.
~Nuffnang

Not all parties have the same welcoming replies on this matter as what Nuffnang and Advertlets did.

Haha, does this sounds fishy to you?

Kuching – The truly natural hot spring!

July 17th, 2011 · No Comments

Hot Spring in a forest? Run away from the hustle and bustle of city life!!

You will find this Kampung Panchor Dayak Hot Spring in less than an hour journey from Kuching town. Located at the 27th mile Kuching (near to Serian), the hot spring will not fail to impress you with its greenfield site.

A narrow road led these happy faces to the hot spring. =)

There are just few simple benches built around the hot spring. The entrance fee is RM3 which you wont get this price elsewhere. Most of the visitors are above 50+ and they seem very familiar to this hot spring. Frankly, the hot spring isn’t really famous, not every kuchingnites know about it.

Stop laughing! xp The water was warm, hot indeed! I can hardly immerse my leg into it. You must force yourself to try it, you will feel a layer of coldness wrapping your leg after a few seconds in the water. It was amazing, hard to describe the feeling with my limited vocab. ==”

Qianni, Jocelynn, Amy and Carmen! Lenglui, phew wit! =p

Thankz Jocelynn for bringing us to this place! =)

Coincident, there were a group of teenagers! They dared to immerse the whole body into the SUPER HoT water!

p/s:  At last, Kuching trip is on my blog. xp Still sorting the photos and planning how to organise them into my blog posts. Stay tuned yea!
