They call this phone as a mobile computer!!! It was my dream to own a mobile phone which allows me to do blogging, facebooking, twittering, checking e-mail, browsing internet and of course playing Youtube videos…. I knew Blackberry has all the above features but without cheap and good “internet connection”, everything will blow off…. Quite desperate about our contry internet system. However, N900 is a good phone (cost about 680 USD) where it can definitely beat Apple IPhone and Blackberry Storm.

Camera (i hope for a higher megapixel and xenon flash)

  • 5-megapixel digital camera
  • Carl Zeiss optical lens
  • Dual LED flash
  • 800 × 480 resolution video recording

Hardware (bigger screen compare to others touch phone)

  • Touch-sensitive screen
  • 3.5” WVGA display
  • 800 × 480 resolution
  • Tactile and onscreen QWERTY keyboards
  • Removable battery

Integrated GPS (Nokia always do good in GPS)

  • Assisted-GPS receiver
  • Ovi Maps pre-installed

Video

  • Wide aspect ratio 16:9 (WVGA)
  • Video recording file format: .mp4; codec: MPEG-4
  • Video recording at up to 848 × 480 pixels (WVGA) and up to 25fps

Music and audio playback

  • Maemo media player
  • Music playback file formats: .wav, .mp3, .AAC, .eAAC, .wma, .m4a
  • Built-in FM transmitter
  • Ring tones: .wav, .mp3, .AAC, .eAAC, .wma, .m4a
  • FR, EFR, WCDMA, and GSM AMR

Size and weight (Quite bulky and not sleek since its thickness nearly 2cm)

  • Volume: Approx 113cc
  • Dimensions: 110.9 × 59.8 × 18 (19.55 at thickest part) mm
  • Weight: Approx 181g

Overall

4stars out of 5 stars

just like any other nokia phones, its just the hype. after a few months, this mobile device will be forgotten. 2010 is the year of the droid, you can take that to the bank. :)

Great blog as for me. I’d like to read something more about that topic. The only thing this blog misses is a few photos of some devices.
