BOLT: Maxis Free Broadband

After the 2 old tricks being blocked by maxis. Here’s the latest trick found on the internet. By the way, sorry for a long wait and thank you for being with us. It’s quite hard to get this information from the internet. Hope that you will appreciate it!

REMINDER: Do it at your own risk. This is just an information-sharing post. NO encouragement to break the LAWS.

  1. Dial *100# and you will see a listed menu.
  2. Select no.7 (Internet&Settings) > Select no.3 (prepaid broadband) > Select no.5 (service switching) >Select no.2 (Switch to Prepaid Broadband) > Select no.1 (Proceed)
  3. You will receive a confirmation sms.
  4. Set your proxy to “174.132.035.122”. For Nokia phone, this setting will be in “Settings> Connectivity>Destinations>Maxis 3G Internet>Options>Advanced Settings>Proxy server address”.
  5. Set your proxy port to”80”. For Nokia phone, this setting will be in “Settings> Connectivity>Destinations>Maxis 3G Internet>Options>Advanced Settings>Proxy port”.
  6. Download and install this application (modified BOLT browser) to your phone.
  7. Run the application in your phone. Change the proxy type to HTTP.
  8. Type this “www.hotlink.com.my” into the Proxy Server.
  9. Press “OPTIONS”, then press “OK”. Select the connection that you modified above (Select Maxis 3G Internet if you modified this).
  10. DONE!!! Enjoy the internet!

    Not working for me although follow the intsruction below.

    Error
    Internet not available. Check network services.

    Thanks mate for the trick. Works fine with my phone.

    There is one thing that is bugging me though, it’s the browser. Speed wise it is better than opera mini, but when it comes to page rendering, usability and user interface, it is utter crap compared to opera mini. I cant even open tabs (wth?).

    I thought bolt has the ability to view videos directly on the browser itself, but when i opened a video in the full version of youtube, the video wont play. There is just nothing there.

    Anyways thanks again for trick. I have no idea how you could find such stuff on the net. I tried 2 find for myself for two days but with no luck.

    Thanks for the new trick…
    it works on the 1st try…
    But…using Bolts on my n5800… cant run in full screen.
    or i just dont know how to run it in full screen..
    BTW..its great to have it than nothing.

    i use SE 920.. i had using about 2 months by this trick.. nowadays, i can log to any web but unfortunately, for login (such as facebook, gmail, etc) fail results will returned. so, the confuse here is; is there the bolt browser having a problem or this trick has been blocked by maxis? pls reply asap. thank u.

        sms 2 yg diterima hari ke 5, sebelum end time sila deactivate pi ke *100# kol, pilih 7 internet+tetapan, pilih 4 blackberry internet servics bis,01 sertrusnya,01 setrusnya,12 deactivate.
        
        untuk aktifkan balik selepas dpt sms sudah deaktif, sila sms balik FREEBIS3G htr ke 22999..begitu strusnya setiap 5 hari..sehingga promosi internet abis,….
