That’s a simple and easy question. Of course, i could answer it within a milisecond! xP
But, most probably i would get a same reply :”sorry, pardon please.” ==”"
Then, I will tell them my nickname which is AH FATT….
The issue won’t stop here.
They will show various unique expressions.
For some Chinese who knows the meaning of it will be shocked as “ah fatt” represents a low class typical Chinese. To them, it doesn’t fit me as a energetic youth. (Ah fatt sounds friendly to me, isn’t it?)
Some Englishmen may just laugh out loud. This is because “fatt” and “fart” sounds alike! Oh my god!
Some Malays will pronounce it as “ah FAT” (plum). xD no comment.

First impression lasts. Just a simple name may bring a large impact to me. Hopefully, having an English name may stop the above issue. But, what English name should I put for myself?

Nuffnang Innit has a new look now! Haven’t check it out? Better do it now!!! Changes are made to push a community forwards. As a part of the community, we need to adapt to the new environment. So, let’s give a big applause to our Nuffies for their courage to bring us a change.
The new Innit is having more features now as compared to the older version.

1) The new top ten list

The new top ten list enhanced on the blogger’s name, avatar, blog url as well as the blog post (of course). This may let us know the typical top ten bloggers and we will easily recognize them. Personally, I’d love this new top ten list! Well done, nuffies！

2) Friends Submissions

This is a thoroughly new feature which is something alike to Twitter follower and Digg! We may add the favorable bloggers as our friends and follow their new submissions in Innit. However, the blogger won’t know that we added him/her as a friend. =(

3) Blog Posts Classification

This is neither a strange nor fresh item to a Digg or Gengblogger users. At last, we can find it in Innit! We can read all blog posts under a particular category that we prefer. Thumbs up!

4) Bloggers’ recent post

This is found in old Innit at the blogger’s profile. But now, we may see this in every post of that blogger. This is a way to feature the blogger and create a fans community for that blogger!

5) Enlarged Avatar

Once we mouse over the blogger’s avatar, the avatar will be enlarged! Wee!

6) Twitter Hashtag

The chatbox is upgraded to integrate with twitter hashtag! If you tweet with this #innit or #nuffnang, your tweet will be shown in that chatbox! COOL!

This makes us to confuse. Lack of focus and professionalism in this page. =(

The page is laggy… slow like a turtle

“Slow like a turtle” is not a good description for this new Innit. It is just a bit slower than the old version. But, a little slow in time may piss off someone. Don’t follow the Windows Vista footsteps! Adding of new features (heavier page) is not an excuse for a slow page respond. Clean and simple item just like Facebook and Windows 7 will be a hot piece of cake.

Not user friendly

The add post section is quite complicated. The captcha is “tiny”. (Good for security but bad for user experience).

Can’t Login

We cant login to Innit through Google Chrome. As far as I am acknowledged, we may login through IE and mozilla firefox.

As a conclusion, I would like to praise Nuffnang! Nuffies make some impressive changes this morning! The page is more user-friendly compared to yesterday! Now, we are automatically direct to the blog post after we click at the blog tittle. There is no more doubled post in chat box! But the chat box is still having slow responds and this makes it not an instant chatbox but a guestbook xP… Hopefully the changes made is parallel with your aim!

p/s: I am brave to post this up beacuse I believe Nuffies are open-minded and would like to improve further! Keep it up, Nuffies! <3 you all!

Along the 2-3 hours journey to Lumut from Bidor toll, we stopped at a small restaurant in which we found this machine. It is a music player that plays a song when you insert some coins. It is a popular machine found in late 90′s. That was a big surprise to me.

The Music Player

It has speakers, songs list and some buttons. When I saw this music player, sweet flashbacks floated in my mind. I do remember that there are lots of music players in a shopping mall. The arise of Ipods and Mp3 players brings us to a new era whereby the above music players are eliminated and forgotten by the society.

Hundreds of songs are available.

Each songs has its particular code.

Insert the code of the song chosen.

The music player play the song in high volume. The song cheers up the restaurant atmosphere! =)

It is normal and common that we can see many other races customers in a mamak stall or a Malay restaurant. But this is a rare case!!! I found a Chinese restaurant which has many Chinese customers!!! Well, there are historical evidences that prove this Chinese ethic has a great relation with Malay.

IT IS A HAINAN RESTAURANT

It has a normal modern shop external appearance.

Big SURPRISE to be unveiled behind this piece of yellowish-green wood blinds.

Aha! This is a retro-styled restaurant with antique chairs, tables, cupboards and even the fans.

Food is served on Chinese-traditional plates which creates the late 90′s atmosphere…

The second surprise will be….

You may spot Malay customers in this restaurant!!!!

For your information, the original name of MEE HAILAM that you can order in a mamak / Malay stall is MEE HAINAN. Except the famous Hainan Chicken Rice (rice in spherical shape), there are plenty delicious Hainanese foods such as the Hinan Chicken Chop. Of course, mostly Hainan restaurants are pork-free and they are the only Chinese restaurants that gain trust from Malays.

Without any delay, let’s meet the main course of this restaurant.

The (炆米粉) braised meehoon (normally served in Chinese “BIG FRY” 大炒 restaurant).

The (炆伊面) braised Yee Mee (normally served in Chinese “BIG FRY” 大炒 restaurant).

Both noodles above are delicious but they are common food for chinese, so they are not a surprise to me. lolz, xD  The Nasi Lemak that served in mamak stall also can be found in this restaurant. The uniqueness of this restaurant starts here.

This prickled chillies normally couldn’t be found in a Chinese “Big Fry” restaurant.
It is only present in Wan Tan Mee stalls.

The unique soy sauce and white pepper bottles.

Cheh, cheh, cheh… no surprise also… (wait….be patient)

WOW, what is this?
This is traditional Hainanese Chicken Chop.
The crunchy and juicy chicken chop is served in a thick sweet and sour sauce with onions, French fries and mixed beans.

You will not find this type of chicken chop in other restaurant.
Only the Hananese restaurant serves this very typical non-western chicken chop.

This Sinaran Restaurant is located in Kuala Pilah town. It is next to the bus station. The chicken chop is priced at RM8 per plate while the price for noodles that served for 1 person is RM6 per plate.

Here I come, KMNS! A matriculation college which is located in Kuala Pilah ( the mountain is surrounded by mist in the morning but it’s damn hot in the afternoon). The orientation week was really tiring because activities were started at 4.30am and ended at around 11.30pm. Sleep insufficiency is our common symptom throughout the week.
