Synopsis
“Ice Kacang Puppy Love” is based on Taiwan-based Malaysian Ah Niu growing up in Penang. In this directorial debut, he also stars as the boy who is a little shy. It’s love at first sight when a girl moves to his forsaken Penang village and he grows up with her through primary and secondary school. However, she’s a bit of a tomboy who can fight off bullies while he’s so timid that he can’t even make coffee at his father’s shop.
This movie will evoke memories of your first love in late 90′s. Hahaha, I am still an innocent small kid at that time.So for me personally, I got a feeling of reentering the village where my early childhood took place. The old barber shop, motorcycle bread seller, retro fan, radio….. AWESOME!

I laughed like a mad person throughout the movie. A few scenes are quite touching while the ending reflects the reality in love. xD Trust me, you will enjoy this movie!

Great movie. Too bad it is only shown in so few cinemas. What lah the local cinema don’t support local movie.

proud of the recent local movie, “WuHoo Da ri zi”~ have bought one to Korea, watched and like it.. has made me miss home! Well, this new movie looks nice too huh.. Enjoy ya^^
