This is so unbelievable – 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8260 chip, Adreno 220 graphic processor, 1GB RAM, 4-inch 480 x 854 LCD (great for outdoor viewing), 8MP camera with LED flash, ginormous 1930mAh battery, dual GPS and you will get MIUI straight from the box (this would probably save you a lot of trouble and time of rooting and flashing the device).

Though it is not the world thinnest nor lightest phone at 125mm x 63mm x 11.9mm, weighing 149g or 5.3 ounces, it serves the everyday usage convenience.

The most tempting of it is the price, with just RM928 you will get all the above GREAT features. You might worry about its built quality since it’s a China product but it’s no longer a pull back! Xiaomi will be manufactured by Foxconn which produces the Apple IPhone 4.

Overall, this surely will be a strong competitor against Samsung and HTC in the android market. However, all the above are still swee promises which haven’t been fulfilled. Let’s keep an eye on it and don’t get excited to early.

Have you heard of GOOD hackers? Are all hackers wild and cruel? Hmmm, Gaysec (not gay sex =p) hacked CIMB, Streamyx, Nuffnang, Advertlets, Gengblogger, TV3 and PLKN with the intention of rising cyber-security awareness.

Yes, they claimed that they are actually saving these local sites from being hacked by other hackers. They released only part of the “harvested” database to the public through their official site.

We understand that the hackers intended to highlight security issues present in our system, and we note that they have chosen to limit the number of e-mail addresses released. Their intent was not to deface or cause damage, but to highlight security issues.

4. Set your proxy to “064.255.180.030“. For Nokia phone, this setting will be in “Settings> Connectivity>Destinations>Maxis 3G Internet>Options>Advanced Settings>Proxy server address.
5. Set your proxy port to”80“. For Nokia phone, this setting will be in “Settings> Connectivity>Destinations>Maxis 3G Internet>Options>Advanced Settings>Proxy port.
6. Download and install this application (modified Opera mini) to your phone.
7. Run the application in your phone. Choose “Custom1″ in tricks column.

Hahahahaha!  Today IPhone 4 reaches Malaysia!  After a long wait, it is launched in our country. But there is a big fight between 2 telecommunication companies (telco)!! Yupz, we are happy to watch them fighting, the more they fight, the better price we will get! xD

Digi and Maxis both bring us the latest Apple IPhone 4 on 24th September 2010 (today). But, which telco should we choose? Maxis or Digi? OR maybe the Singapore officially unlocked set? Which offers the best rate? Don’t think too much, let me do an analysis for you!

The price shown in above table is referred to Apple IPhone 4 16GB.

The green color highlighted price is the “must pay” for the respective set. Digi Iphone has a 2-years contract while the maxis provides both 1 year and 2 years plans. If you are not a heavy user (always call and sms), I suggest you to buy the phone without the contract. The RRP  price (original) for Apple IPhone 4 16GB in Malaysia is RM2290 which is RM200 more expensive than a Singapore set.

If you are a heavy user, I would suggest Digi Plan. This is simply because the Digi plan is cheaper for a long term heavy user. Instead of paying RM3790 (updated price) for 2 years, you may just pay RM3482 for 2-years Digi plan. However, in this great competition atmosphere, the telco company may reduce their price at anytime. In such a condition, if you are bonded with a 2 years contract, you may face some losses. So, are you willing to take the risk?

Before that, please make sure that your area has Digi 3G coverage. If your area doesn’t have Digi 3G coverage and you need a speedy internet connection, you have to turn off the Digi option. =p

Basically, different packages suits different people. Do read the terms and conditions as detail as you can before subscribing a package.

P/S: There are rumors in the net that claim that Maxis will have a Prepaid Hotlink plan for Apple Iphone 4 soon. Who knows? xp
