1) Download and install Opera Mini which suites your phone.

2) Dial *100# and you will see a listed menu.

3) Select no.7 (Internet&Settings) > Select no.3 (prepaid broadband) > Select no.4 (service switching) >Select no.2 (Switch to Prepaid Broadband) > Select no.1 (Proceed)

4) You will receive a confirmation sms.

5) Change your APN from “unet” into “bbnet”. For Nokia phone, this setting will be in “Settings> Connectivity>Destinations>Access Points”.

6) DONE!!! FREE INTERNET!!!!

Haha, i found something weird about Maxis Broadband!!! Simply just want to shout out loud here!!!!!! LOLZ!

What’s going wrong with my Maxis Broadband USB modem?

This is the USB modem manufactured by Huawei.

Green light stands for EDGE connection and this means there is no 3G (WCDMA/HSPDA) connection.

But……

My Nokia 5800 has full bars of 3G connection!

Hahaha, Huawei modem is the loser, even Nokia handphone which is not specifically design as a modem can overtake it easily!

p/s:

1. Basically I prefer Maxis BB to Celcom BB. Just simply because RM58 Maxis BB is much faster compare to RM68 celcom.
2. If you can afford Rm98 per month and you are heavy internet user, Celcom BB would be a better choice since the Celcom data limit is 5GB. This is because 6GB Maxis BB is RM118.
3. The above two conditions may not valid if your area do not have their 3G coverage. If you have either one company 3G coverage only, then you have no choice.
4. Frankly, Celcom coverage is larger than Maxis. So, if you are a traveler, do consider Celcom!
5. ALL above Maxis BB packages price are after discount (RM10 DISCOUNT for exist Maxis Postpaid user + RM10 DISCOUNT for Credit Card direct debit transfer). So ALL the above Maxis BB prices need to add RM20 if you do not meet the two conditions.

Here comes the new IPad from Apple. I will just give a brief utmost explanation about this product because you may find more information on it in Apple official site. But, you must continue reading this post because i will unveil some mystery about Apple.

IPad Top 5 features that impressed me :

1) We can hold the internet in our palm.

With its 0.5 inches thin and 0.5 pounds light body, we may hold it and even touch the internet using our fingers. That means, with this IPad I can blog in anyplace at anytime. This is my dream since I started blogging in 2008. Now, Apple turns it into reality!

2) We may get the real feel of pages flipping in IBook

Although Amazon has released its Kindle Wireless Reading Device, we can’t get the real feel of flipping a book. But, IPad simply solves my “personal” problem, just with a touch or a slide with fingers we may flip a page with amazing page-flipping animation!!! No more reasons for me to reject an e-book!

3) Heavy duty IWork in a super thin tablet

Just like Microsoft Office, IWork allow a layman to produce awesome documents with superb graphic and translations embedded. Besides capable to deliver high definition slide presentations and publishing materials, IPad is ready to connect to a projector!!!

4) No Problem for a Heavy typing!!!

There is no more excuses for a heavy typer for not choosing IPad, even a reporter may use it to jot down the interviews. Great accessories comes along with IPad.

December’s “Operation Aurora” cyber attack from China, which Google disclosed last week, has prompted French and German to recommend against the use of Internet Explorer, at least until a patch is released to address the vulnerability.

This is a great move considering the security risk Microsoft’s Internet Explorer creates. Similar action may be taken against other Microsoft products as well. How does this happen? Microsoft provided the window through which the Chinese hackers crawled through.

“This afternoon, Microsoft issued Security Advisory 979352 to help customers mitigate a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in Internet Explorer. The company has determined that Internet Explorer was one of the vectors used in targeted and sophisticated attacks targeted against Google and other corporate networks.”

This is a great BANG for Microsoft. It’s a fact that Internet explorer lost its popularity in market. The internet browser battle kicked off for a long time. Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are more user friendly and load web pages much faster. Besides, tonnes of web developers facing hard time in tweaking their web pages to suite the Internet Explorer.

So, can Internet Explorer can still leads the browser industry after this big BANG? Will you support Internet Explorer?
